At the Vineyard, friendship is one of our highest values: friendship with God and friendship with one another. The joy that we find in Christ is shared when we hang out together in the presence of the Holy Spirit. The first church in the bible understood this and made it a priority to hang out together. And when they did this, cool things happened. Not only are small groups a place to belong and to develop friendships, they are also a place to grow in your relationship with God. Each week we take time to worship Jesus, study God's word together and pray for one another. When we gather we welcome the presence of the Holy Spirit in a naturally supernatural way. In small groups we want to experience the presence of God and learn to obey everything Jesus taught. We want small groups to be a place where we can learn to pray for the sick like Jesus and his many disciples did.

"Small group is a group of small people."
 MARY & LUKE HAUSER

“They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.

All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts.

They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”

- Acts 2:42-47 (NIV)
